  • These chairs were designed by George Mulhauser for a competition to furnish the TWA building at the Kennedy airport. While he wasn’t chosen as a winner, the chair went into a very limited production. These chairs are hard to find. How do we know? George Mulhauser’s son was kind enough to send us a note! Please see the last photo to read the actual quote.

These chairs will make quite a statement in any MCM home. Chairs are bothe marked underneath with the date: March 5, 1964

The chrome legs show very little wear, the walnut bent backs and black vinyl seats have some wear consistent with age.
